Brewers Weekly: Resurgance of Rickie Weeks

I realize that I am writing this article after Rickie Weeks' clutch three-run homer against the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight but still I think it needs to be said... where the Weeks haters at?! All of you guys said we needed to get rid of Weeks and explore other options. Now he looks like the player we expected him to be and he is once again everyone's favorite player, crazy.

Monday: The Brewers brought out the bats with Ryan Braun, Weeks, and Mike Cameron all going yard plus it got a little heated with Jeff Karstens hitting Braunie who wasnt too happy about it. He told Mr. Selig took take a look at it. More to come on why the Pirates are the biggest bitches of the NL Central.

Tuesday: The Brewers didnt get a great start out of Dave Bush but they responded in the sixth inning with big homers from Bill Hall and once again, Weeks. He had himself a hell a week for sure. Also this was the beginning of TREVOR TIME (credited to Mach). Great to hear Hells Bells.

Wednesday: All that really needs to be said is YOOOOOOOOO! He strikes out 11 and gives up 2 hits, also he hits a homer for the only run for the Brewers on that Wednesday. The only negetive about this is it leads to the Brewers falling off a bit on offensive. The LaRoche brothers made comments that Yo got help from the umps and he is not that good. Well there is a reason why Pittsburgh feeds at the bottom.

Thursday: The offense struggles against the phenom that is Max Schrezer but once the Brewers got to the Diamondback bullpen, it was game over. Big hit from Cameron that put the Crew over the top and we also got to see Hoffman dominate again. In addition, another good start by Jeff Suppan who only gave up the leadoff homer in that one.

Friday: This one we really have but I guess you cannot complain when you go 5-2. The bats once again went silent for most of the game before getting to Jon Garland late in the game only until Carlos Villanueva plus an awful call down the line cost the Brewers in this one.

Saturday: The Brewers learned they would be without Ryan Braun who had back stiffness and it really didnt matter if Braunie played because Dan Haren was the man on Saturday night. He really should be 5-0 but until the last three starts, he is finally getting run support.

Sunday: I missed the one due to frolf but according to my sources, the homers Bush gave up where all good pitches and there was nothing most pitchers could do about it. It didnt matter because the Crew got it done in the late inning and the Hoff closes out his third of the week.
