Thoughts on the NBA Draft

Well the NBA Draft has came and went... I have a few thoughts on what transpired and who I feel did the best in what will probably be considered one of the worst drafts in recent memory.

-I feel that not even the Los Angeles Clippers can eff up Blake Griffin. I think he will be a great player and like I used in the NBA Mock Draft that he would make an immediate impact. The Clips need to find a wing guy for Marcus Camby or Chris Kaman because they all dont fit together with Griffin whose a primary inside guy.

-Hasheem Thabeet will be a bust as well as Jrue Holiday. Thabeet will be thrown to the wolves right away by starting and he will rake up the fouls that only Greg Oden could imagine. Holiday needed at least another year at UCLA to learn the fundamentals and other things.

-Ricky Rubio will be a stud. I am excited to see what Rubio will do for the Minnesota Timberwolves or whoever he goes to (I doubt New York is able to pull off a deal for Rubio, they dont have enough pieces because no way will the T-Wolves want David Lee when they have Al Jefferson.)

-Going back to Minnesota why on earth would you take two point guards in the first ten picks?! Why wouldnt Jordan Hill be the answer with one of those picks? Or even go with Stephen Curry who could play some two instead of two pure point guards. My friend Shannon whose a big Syracuse Orange supporter was very distraught that Jonny Flynn went to Minnesota as well. No matter what a lawyer from Duke says, Minnesota you didnt win the draft.

-Like: DeMar DeRozen, Terrence Williams, Eric Maynor, Earl Clark. Dislike: Tyler Hansbrough, Austin Daye, Darren Collison.

-Charlie.
