Dear Brewers...

I am doing an article before Brewers weekly because I feel this needs to be addressed and maybe with my writing, I will "Self-Jinx" the pitching staff of the Milwaukee Brewers. Right now our pitching staff looks like a mix of the Bad News Bears and the beginning of Major League.

Everyone including myself felt that it was only Manny Parra that was the problem with no command and no ability to throw his fastball in the right spots. All of us thought that Parra was a complete headcase and he just needed the minors to get his shit straight. But as fans we cannot sit back and hope that Parra will come back with a vengeance.

My friend Eric has ripped on Dave Bush mercifully as I mentioned last week and maybe now the time is right to become frustrated with Bush. He said yesterday that he is tired and in my opinion, his pitching elbow is alot worse than he is leading on (Bush was hit with a ball on June 4th against the Marlins). If he is mentally tried then Seth McClung, Chris Naverson, or Chris Smith should start in his place on Thursday against the Minnesota Twins.

The final concern with the pitching staff is Braden Looper after a fast start has now came down to earth somewhat surrendering long balls left and right plus not being able to get out his final inning. Looper has shown some promise but it seems that he loses focus when he gets two outs due to his problems getting the final out. He needs to focus in if he wants to be successful.

The Brewers need to pray to Bob Uecker that Jeff Suppan and Yovani Gallardo keep staying consistent with a bunch of good starts with a bad one here and there. If they both go to shit, it could really start to get ugly.

-Charlie.
