A Crazy March Ahead of Us?

The big talk this week as Championship week is coming to a close, who will be the number one seeds? The reason why is because everyone is falling faster than Rhianna's credibility.

In my personal opinion, this could be a year where you see a 6-8 seed being in the Elite Eight or the Final Four for that matter because no one seems to have a hold on how to win night in, night out. This also means that it will be one of the hardest years to pick bracket pool winner this year.

I do think that North Carolina look good but if Ty Lawson isnt healthy, this team will not win the National Championship. They need Lawson to be a great team so that concerns me. UConn doesnt impressed me because I feel like Hasheem Thabeet isnt as dominating as the media says he is. Yes on defense he is a force but he likes to disappear on offense. Pitt is another team who could be a National Championship team but they have been known to just fall apart once in the Sweet 16 starts although this year they have had some time off with losing to West Virgina in the quarterfinal.

I did say from the beginning that Louisville would be one of the best teams in the nation and I think they do deserve the number one seed overall because they have won the Big East regular season and tournament champion. Therefore I dont see a reason why they will not be the overall number one. Also lets remember though this is the same team who lost to Western Kentucky and UNLV earlier on in the year.

My one seeds at this point are...
-Louisville
-North Carolina
-Pitt
-Memphis/Duke- If they were to win tomorrow against Florida State, there is a very good chance that the NCAA could sneak them in as a number one.

Happy March Madness.

-Charlie.
