Paving Way for Lebron

I would first like to give a shout-out to my boy Brett who has put out a new blog called Rocky's Rant as he joins the blog revolution.

The Knicks made some deals today which all surround them clearing the way for Lebron James in 2010 or any other free agent that tickles their fancy in 2010 which will be a historic year for free agency in the NBA.

The deals were....
Golden State gets Jamal Crawford
New York gets Al Harrington
Not a bad deal for the Knicks as they get a good post presence in Harrington who helps the rebounding load with David Lee and he will get a daily 15-20 points. Crawford fits nicely in Golden State and gets out of the guard-packed New York

LA Clippers get Zach Randolph, Marty Collins
New York get Tim Thomas, Cuttino Mobley
Clippers may now have one of the best big man combinations in the league in addition might have one of the most physical teams as well with having Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman, and now Randolph. Their guards should not be allowed to shoot the ball just throw it down into one of the three of those guys. The Knicks get Tim Thomas who still has some left in the tank as well as Cuttino Mobley who should give them good minutes.

What this all boils down to is the Knicks have now cleared enough money out of the way so they can bring Lebron James to New York. Granted they would settle for Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, or Amare Stoudamire but they WANT/NEED Lebron James in Knicks' fans opinions. They feel that he belongs playing in MSG and getting the Knicks the titles they havent had for years.
