Ahh college basketball is back after two Pac-10 top 25 teams go down last night as 4. UCLA and 20. USC go down to Michigan and Seton Hall last night.
I watched most of the UCLA-Michigan game last night and I think Michigan is a team who are looking better than people expected this year as Coach John Beilein has his Wolverine team running the 1-3-1 defense just as good as his West Virigina. It confused UCLA the entire game and the inside game of the Bruins was nowhere to be found as they could not get anything inside and couldnt stop DeShawn Sims inside if their life depended on it.
I think this Wolverine team is much more than Manny Harris (projected 1st team Big Ten all-conference) and could do some damage in the Big Ten. Also now maybe all the Big Blue fans can forget about football seeing as their basketball team is alright. It will be interesting to see how they play against Duke because the Dukies have good three-point shooters yet their inside game is at the same level as UCLA so I wouldnt be surprised to see Michigan win again tonight.
Bad day for the Pac-10 as Seton Hall beat USC in a tournament and add the Pirates as another Big East team to watch out for. The Trojans in my opinion where a very good team and I was shocked to see them lose to a Pirate team who hasnt been that good in three or four years now. We will see if the Pirates can keep the magic up as they play Memphis tonight.
