I am counting down to Monday. Most people aren't looking forward to Monday but I know anyone who has a pulse in the Wisconsin-Minnesota area will be ready for the night's game.
The Green Bay Packers match up with the Minnesota Vikings and Brett Favre. This has been the one date that people have been waiting for since Brett decided to play for the purple and gold. What really does make me sick is the fact that people switched from Packers to Viking fans because they have the biggest man-crush in the world for Favre. Once Favre is retired, none of you if you are reading can join the Packer bandwagon again. That breaks so many rules in sports for creating against the Packers that you are not allowed back.
If the Packers lose on Monday, I will be depressed that the Packers lost but here's the thing. I will be sick of ESPN by thirty minutes of waking up because they will be banging the Favre shit over our heads and people will be just saying "I told you so." Here's thing you Favre fanatics which might be compared to the Mansion cult minus the whole killing aspect: It's week four! Favre will not be the same quarterback in five to seven weeks from now and that's when the Vikings begin to crumble.
No matter what happens, it should be a fun one.
