Of course this would happen. The Green Bay Packers have seemed to have a pretty good start to their training camp minus first round draft pick B.J. Raji hasnt signed with the ball club. Other than that people seem pretty pumped for next season and now we get word that General Manager Ted Thompson wouldnt rule out the idea of bringing Michael Vick to the Packers.
I think there is about a twenty percent chance of this happening for the simple reason of Aaron Rodgers. He is our starting quarterback without a question further he has a pretty reliable back up in Brian Brohm. The second one is the Packers didnt run the wildcat last year so I doubt they would try to learn a brand new package for Vick. Although you will have all the major media outlets including the sports radio talking about this all day tomorrow.
I follow Nick Barnett and Ryan Grant on Twitter who both seem to want Vick on the team because they feel that he could be a huge weapon for the offense. I am not disagreeing that point at all but do we really need another August like last year? The media would be once again breathing down the neck of Green Bay even if they like Vick to practice. Also you would have PETA and all things alike knocking down the doors of the Don Hutson Center.
My buddy Seth opinion on all of this... " best place for Vick is in Cleveland, the dog pound baby"
