On Friday, the New York Giants decided to get rid of the cancer that was infecting them by releasing Plaxico Burress due to in large part of the gun charges Swiss Plax has.
I think it was the writing on the wall that Coach Tom Coughlin is not the type of the coach you want to be pissed off at you or the type of guy that will put up with off-field issues. Even though the Giants struggled without Burress last year, they can find a guy like Anquan Boldin, Braylon Edwards (rumored on the block), or get a guy like Hakeem Nicks from North Carolina, Darius Heywood-Bey from Maryland would be another great option.
As for Swiss Plax, just like Michael Vick he will find a job somewhere in the NFL to a team who believes they can hold Plax down and keep him under control. The hotspot for cancers has always been Dallas and Oakland although actually I could see both teams passing on Plaxico because I want to believe they are past that phase. How good would Seattle be if they add Plaxico? Granted with legal troubles, its a risky move but they make themselves contenders. Another scary option would be if the Bears decided to press their luck with Plax and if that happens I will probably hid under blankets for a couple of days.
