Starbury Back in Action

Stephon Marbury was waived by the Knicks on Tuesday and on Friday was in a Celtic uniform where he had six points in limited time. Well once again I made a prediction but this time I seem to be wrong so far although its only the first couple of days so we will see. I do believe its a better idea that previously believed.

The reason I think now this is a better idea in the last couple of weeks because the Celtics have proved that their bench is weaker than McLovin in the weight room. I mean Tony Allen is an awful option to have off the bench. He ruins the flow of the game and doesnt seem to have a clue what he is doing out there. The other guy who is horrendous for the C's is Glenn "Big Baby" Davis. I mean Davis believes he is some sort of mid-range jump shooter instead of just trying to muscle his way into the lane for some points. Davis single-handily cost the Celts the game against the Lakers. For all these reasons, this is why Boston went out and got Mikki Moore from the Kings who is a perfect addition to their bench.

In my opinion, I think Marbury will stay under control because he just wants to play basketball again. Marbury could care less about himself I believe right now and just the simple fact, he is playing basketball again is all that matters. I would be very surprised if he has any sort of outburst this year about playing time or anything closely related to that situation. Although I must say if something were to happened, wouldnt surprised in the slightest.

KG Wanted a Minnesota Reunion Maybe?

So there are reports that Stephon Marbury is likely to become a Boston Celtic..... what?

This makes absolute no sense to me because it has been proven time and again that Marbury is a cancer. With the great success the Celtics are having despite a rough West Coast trip, they are still thriving as a team. He has been out of the league for a year due to his ever growing soap opera with the New York Knicks so he is not going to be ready to play basketball probably until February and has just created problems for every one in the city of New York.

The initial thought is that bringing back Starbury-KG combination that KG would be able to contain Marbury with his leadership skills and the fact that they got along in Minnesota. But on the other hand, wasnt it not realized by the Timberwolves that he wasnt the answer to the franchise therefore they brought in Sam Cassell and Latrell Spreewell. I dont know understand that theory for the fact that really he hasnt control any attitude on the Celtics. The more I think about it, KG cannot control his own attitude so what makes some people think he can contorl Marbury attitude?

The other thing that doesnt make sense about this decision is the Celtics have a bevy of back-up guards so there is really isnt a spot for Marbury on the team. You have Tony Allen, Sam Cassell, and Eddie House already plus Cassell barely plays as it is. Unless the thought is, that if Marbury is a Celt that one of those players is on their way out. I would still take Cassell over Marbury any day of the week.

AI Needs his Turkey and Marbury's Cool Suits.

I would just like to thank Allen Iverson to give me a perfect excuse to play his sound clip, "We are talking bout practice man!" Haha, he gave me this opportunity as he missed Thanksgiving morning practice which led to him being benched. Now I think this can just prove the point that AI does not think of anyone else but himself. Granted, it sucks to practice on Thanksgiving (I've been there) but it's necessary. Iverson likely wont have any more incidents all year.

Now to a guy who has more problems than most math textbooks: Stephon Marbury. He has not played a game all year and we have seen him show off all sorts of suits enjoying Madison Square Garden from the sidelines. Basically, its a cat fight between Mike D'Antoni and Marbury as they already hated each other from Phoenix and Marbury isnt the type of person to bury hatchet. In addition, he has no teammates behind him as Quinton Richardson has called him out in the past week and no one has came out to his defense.

Now he is officially suspended by the New York Knicks, and my dad mentioned it to me which led me to say, "Stephon's a punk, no question about it." He is the closet thing to a plague in the NBA. He was alright in his first years at Minnesota but as things started to improve for KG, Marbury wanted more. Then Steph diseased New Jersey and Phoenix. Now, he went to New York, a true hell hole in the NBA until D'Antoni got there.

I hope Marbury keeps picking splinters out of his ass.
