We all got sick and tired of all of the allegations that Selena Roberts made about Alex Rodriguez in January. Now a couple new allegations came out about A-Roid and its not good right now.
Heres what we have so far and I will give you my opinion after the accused things about A-Roid all according to ESPN.com story via Roberts
-Rodriguez did not stop using steroids when he was traded to the Yankees in 2004, and he might have been using as far back as high school, the Daily News reports. Well then. I guess he gained twenty-five pounds in between sophomore-junior year of high school.
Here is what Roberts said.. "that based on the sudden improvement in his bench press (from 100 to 310) in just six months in high school, and "in conjunction with the reporting that I did with [his high school] teammates would make it irrefutable to me, not a 'may have,' " that Rodriguez took performance-enhancing drugs in high school."
Thats a bit shaky but seriously you can do that with whey protein plus some supplements without using steroids so who knows really. I mean I put on twenty pounds granted it was due to late Taco Bell not weight lifting, it still could happen to anyone.
-Yankees teammates, Roberts writes, nicknamed Rodriguez "Bitch Tits" in 2005 because he put on 15 pounds in the offseason that resulted in round pectorals, a condition called gynecomastia that can be caused by anabolic steroids.
First of all, A-Roid might now be now on the blog as Alex "Bitch Tits" Rodriguez and second of all, this could be true because if you know about roids that happens often with steroids abusers.
-The last one bothers me somewhat... A-Rod "pitch tipped" when he played for the Rangers by letting opponents at the plate know which pitch was coming in lopsided games. A-Rod expected players he helped would reciprocate when he was having an off night and needed to get his batting average up.
Wow, thats unreal. If that is the case that bothers me more than the steroids. That is a dirty move and he should be ashamed of himself if that proves to be true. Although might this be some hype for Roberts book which comes out May 4th? Absolutely but you never know with A-Roid.

A-Roid has the Worst Year Ever
I think that I am having a bad year just struggling in school but no one is having a worst year than Alex Rodriguez as he learned that he is out for the first 10 weeks of the season with a hip injury.
A-Rod has been through just a complete whirlwind in the year of 2009 at first being accused of steroid use then admitting to taking PEDs and now being out for the first month and half. Life is just not going A-Roid way these days. I am sure that Rodriguez wanted to make a statement proving to everyone tht he doesnt need steroids to hit 30+ home runs but now that all goes to shit with him being out for a couple months.
Not only A-Rod has a problem with trying to rebuild his image but the Yankees are now wondering if they can make it through the pain of not having one of the best hitters in the game. My answer is no, they will struggle in the first couple of months and build themselves a hole in the American League East. But I do believe once A-Roid comes back, they will come back with a vengeance unless there are more Yankees that make their way to the DL.
There have been talks about the Yanks interested in Bill Hall who I really want to see in a Brewer uniform this year because he got Lasik eye surgery this offseason so I think he will have a big year. Although if they offer Phil Hughes or Ian Kennedy for the Hall, I probably do that in a heartbeat.

A-Roid UPDATE

Prepared to see this on all of Alex Rodriguez stats because today it was reveled that A-Rod tested positive for anabolic steroids in 2003. Rut roh.
Today is a sad one because many of us who watched baseball thought that A-Rod was one of the clean ones and he just busted his ass to become the best players in baseball. Rodriguez seemed like a weight room freak When the Mitchell Report was released we all said "A-Rod's clean and we said that about alot of different players so who knows now whose clean in the era of the late 90s early 2000s.
Rodriguez is a dirty player just like Barry Bonds so if he breaks Bonds' records they will be tainted just like Baroid. Everything that has been done to try to get steroids out of baseball took a huge step back today with these reports. A-Rod's 2003 MVP needs to have one of these * as of now because its tainted. I will never see him as the same baseball player and I think many people would agree with it.
The also unfortunate thing about this is we will hear about for two effin weeks because A-Rod is one of the best players in baseball and he plays for the Yankees. I mean every GD thing that comes out about the Yankees is a huge media frenzy. Therefore A-Rod needs to come out and say that this information is true unless somehow its not which is hard to believe.
The question is who released this information? This was supposed to be classified information and it was released to Sports Illustrated. A-Rod was only one of one hundred four people on this list. So who else is on this list? I think he needs to be known.

A-Roid admitted to doing steroids from 2001-2003 so in my opinion, anything throughout those three years needed to be abolished from the record books. Subtract his numbers in those years and then that would give him only 397 for home runs. I feel thats the justified respond.

Joe Torre Doesnt Like A-Fraud
So here is what I am thinking... Joe Torre wants to make some money.
If you havent heard but lets be honest if you turned on ESPN in the last couple of days you now know that Joe Torre and Alex Rodriguez dont really like each other that much. You know this because ESPN jumps all over any story involving the Yankees or the Cowboys.
Heres the deal, Torre wrote a book with Sports Illustrated Tom Verducci called the Yankee Years. In the book, he said the players called Rodriguez, "A-Fraud." Here is an excerpt from the book... "Back in 2004, at first Rodriguez did his best to try and fit into the Yankee culture -- his cloying, B Grade actor best," "He slathered on the polish. People in the clubhouse, including teammates and support personnel, were calling him 'A-Fraud' behind his back." Yikes those are pretty strong statements to make and A-Rod is brushing it off like it was nothing but still you have to think that hurts. This also is somewhat baffling after there were reports that Rodriguez was going to head to Los Angeles with Torre when he took the manager job.
In addition, Torre mentions that A-Rod was obsessed with the rivalry with teammate Derek Jeter. Here is the quote (By the way big help from ESPN.com)... "In his own way, Rodriguez was fascinated with Jeter, as if trying to figure out what it was about Jeter that could have bought him so much goodwill. The inside joke in the clubhouse was that Rodriguez' pre-occupation with Jeter recalled the 1992 film, 'Single White Female,' in which a woman becomes obsessed with her roommate to the point of dressing like her." Once again, wow. These guys have to play with each other next year so you have to think things will be a bit awkward when they head to Florida in March. You wonder if Jeter ever campagined to get A-Rod off the team at the multiple times they talked about trading him.
Some Yankee fans are saying he is right and the other one feel disrespected that their one great manager didnt really like some of the bigger players Cashman brought in. In the end, this was to sell books no doubt and trust me it will, lets all hope for a Dodger-Yankee World Series because then, shit would get real.
