I know that he has been good in the regular season but not so solid in the postseason which to me, granted I would love a World Series title but consistently getting to the playoffs would not be a bad thing either. Also look at guys like Terry Francona, and Charlie Manuel. They got their starts somewhere else and the second time was the charm. So who knows maybe this team will be answer for Macha, he knows how to manage a small-market team and he's a winner.
So in doing some research some of the things I am reading about Macha seem to be very familiar to one Ned Yost. A couple tidbits were frustrations over his li
neups giving guys like Jason Kendall too many at-bats. And also describing how he left pitchers on their toes in hopes of something more. Granted this is coming from a Fire Ken Macha blog but still, he didnt seem too popular with the fans.Wouldnt be too surprised if the same Yost haters are back at it again with Macha.
