Well we might have a reason for why Plaxico Burress had a gun on him.
Steve Smith of the New York Giants revealed that he was robbed at gun-point in the early morning as his driver brought him home from the club. Burress said that he felt threaten going to the club with what happened with Smith.
If that was the case why dont you stay the hell at home?!
Now Burress has been suspended for four games which is the right thing to do by the New York Giants because the distraction of Burress is taken away which is a good thing. Not only that but they put him on the non-football injury list which denies Burress any chance to play in the playoffs. Granted the gunshot wound would have put him out for four to six weeks.
I think the Giants should just release him because of the continuous antics that they have to put up with. I think that Burress would probably find work somewhere maybe in Oakland or Dallas no matter what the case will be because they love bringing in the thugs around the NFL.
We shall see if the NFL will lay down any punishment because this is from the Giants.
