Man just when you think Brett Favre is going to mow off into the sunset, here he goes again. ESPN's Chris Mortenson reported yesterday that Favre has the "itch" to play football again and his brother Scott thinks he has a 50/50 shot at being ready for the start of the season.
First of all I am a big time Brett Favre fan and supporter but give me a goddamn break. You are retired, Brett. All of us had our hearts broken during the first week of March and all of us were now in the midst of trying to get our heads wrapped around the "Aaron Rodgers Era." Hell, Rodgers even made comments about the future basically saying "If you're not on the Rodgers bandwagon, get the fuck outta here then." I am ready to begin the Aaron Rodgers Era even if we are 5-11 next year because guess what fans? Its time to move on from Brett.
Lets see what #12 can do with the Packers and who knows maybe he will win the NFC North or we can stick to another year of Brett Favre hoping that maybe he will get a Super Bowl ring. That is highly unlikely, and then what do you do about Brian Brohm or Matt Flynn. Just tell Brett keep mowing the lawn.
